It could be said that there are six palaces in Seoul, but practically there are five of them. One place called “Unhyeongung” was never resided by a King of Joseon, so it is not usually categorized as a palace. The name of other five palaces are; Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Changgyeonggung, Gyeonghuigung, and Deoksugung.
By the way, on page 8 and 36, the book describes that there are five palaces in Seoul.
서울에 6곳의 궁궐이 있다고 할 수 있으나 실질적으로는 5곳이 있습니다. 운현궁이라고 불리는 곳은 조선의 왕의 거처로 사용된 적이 없기에 일반적으로 궁궐로 분류되지 않습니다. 다른 다섯 곳의 궁궐의 이름은 경복궁, 창덕궁, 창경궁, 경희궁, 덕수궁입니다.
한편 이 책의 8페이지와 36페이지에는 서울에 5개의 궁궐이 있다고 서술합니다.
