Where did the Korean Language come from?

The Korean language did not descend from Chinese, as you can see from the language itself, structure, grammar, etc. However, until now, due to lack of data, there has been many controversies about where the Korean language comes from and there has not been a precisely proven theory. The most well known theory describes that the Korean language, as well as for Japanese language, derives from the Altaic family of languages.
